Amit, another Cofounding Partner at Felix, has expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, and tax and regulatory advisory. Amit has 14+ years of experience and has earlier worked with Ernst & Young’s tax and regulatory team. He has assisted a number of multinational companies, Indian conglomerates, investors, and high-growth start-ups during their internal restructuring initiatives, outbound/inbound transactions, and joint ventures.

His expertise includes structuring of joint venture with Indian groups from a tax and regulatory perspective and assistance in regulatory approvals process. Further, he has assisted various private equity players on their acquisitions in India involving cross-border structuring, funding acquisitions, and corporate tax optimization. He also has vast experience in assisting private equities in inbound investment structuring in areas including identification of suitable jurisdiction, holding/investment structure, and formation of entity at various levels/jurisdictions.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 and has also cleared Uniform Certified Public Accountant exams from the Colorado State Board of Accountancy, United States, in 2006. An avid public speaker, Amit has penned several thought pieces and opinions on tax and regulation related matters on various renowned platforms. He also co-authored Law & Practice of Delhi VAT published by Bharat Law House Publications.
